Tender grilled Balsamic Flank Steak marinated with garlic, herbs, and balsamic vinegar for a rich sweet-savory flavor.

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds flank steak
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary
1 teaspoon fresh thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Whisk balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, honey, mustard, herbs, salt, and pepper.

  • Marinate flank steak for at least 1 hour.

  • Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.

  • Remove steak from marinade and cook 4–6 minutes per side.

  • Rest steak for 5–10 minutes.

  • Slice thinly against the grain.

  • Serve warm with optional parsley garnish.

Notes

Marinating longer deepens flavor. Skirt steak can substitute for flank steak.
