These Starbucks-style Birthday Cake Pops are soft, sweet, and coated in pretty pink candy with sprinkles — the perfect bite-sized treat for any celebration.

Ingredients

Scale

Vanilla Cake:

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1½ tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Vanilla Frosting:

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tbsp milk

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Coating:

  • 12 oz pink candy melts

  • 2 tsp vegetable oil

  • White sprinkles

Other:

  • Lollipop sticks

  • Styrofoam block

Instructions

  • Bake cake: Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients and milk. Bake at 350°F for 28–32 minutes. Cool completely.

  • Crumble cake and mix with frosting until dough forms.

  • Roll into 1-inch balls. Chill 1 hour.

  • Dip stick tips in melted coating, insert into balls. Chill 10 minutes.

  • Melt candy melts with oil. Dip cake pops. Tap off excess. Add sprinkles.

  • Let set upright in a stand. Store chilled

Use boxed mix and store-bought frosting to save time. Adjust colors and flavors to match your event.
