Fudgy brownie bites decorated as adorable gnomes with strawberry or candy hats, frosting beards, and candy noses — perfect for holiday fun.
For Brownie Bites:
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup cocoa powder
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
½ cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
For Decorations:
15–20 strawberries or sugar cones
4 oz white chocolate or buttercream frosting
Mini marshmallows or round sprinkles (noses)
Red candy melts (optional for hat coating)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
Whisk melted butter with sugars until combined.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix until glossy.
Stir in cocoa, flour, and salt until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips, if using.
Fill mini muffin cups ¾ full. Bake 10–12 minutes. Cool completely.
Prepare decorations: hull strawberries or coat cones in candy melts.
Pipe beard onto each brownie.
Place hat on top and press candy nose just under the brim.
Let set and serve!
Store decorated gnomes in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze undecorated brownie bites for longer storage.
