  • 6 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin.

  • Melt butter and chocolate together; cool slightly.

  • Whisk sugars, eggs, and vanilla until thick and pale.

  • Add melted chocolate and mix until glossy.

  • Fold in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and chocolate chips.

  • Divide batter into muffin cups (3/4 full).

  • Bake 18–20 minutes until set with moist crumbs. Cool before serving
