½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8-inch pan.
Melt butter, stir in sugar and vanilla.
Beat in eggs one at a time.
Add cocoa, flour, and salt. Mix until just combined.
