  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8-inch pan.

  • Melt butter, stir in sugar and vanilla.

  • Beat in eggs one at a time.
