Brownies:
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
Decorations (Optional):
Candy eyes
Halloween sprinkles
Orange, purple, or black icing
White chocolate or royal icing
Crushed Oreos
Mini M&Ms or Reese’s Pieces
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8-inch pan.
Mix butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Stir in cocoa, flour, and salt until smooth.
Fold in chocolate chips if using.
Spread into pan and decorate before baking if desired.
Bake 22–26 minutes. Cool completely.
