3 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup warm milk (110°F)
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter (for sautéing garlic)
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and melted butter. Mix and knead until smooth.
Let dough rise in greased bowl, covered, for 1–1.5 hours.
Sauté minced garlic in butter until fragrant. Combine with mozzarella and half the parmesan.
Roll out dough into rectangle. Spread garlic-cheese filling evenly.
Roll up dough and slice into 12 pieces.
Place rolls in greased dish, cover, and let rise 30–45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush rolls with butter and sprinkle remaining parmesan.
Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
Cool slightly and garnish with parsley if desired.
