These no-bake cherry bourbon balls combine crushed cookies, cocoa, and chopped cherries with a boozy bourbon kick for a festive, chocolatey treat perfect for holiday gifting or entertaining.

  • 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers

  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans

  • ¼ cup cocoa powder

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • ¼ cup bourbon

  • 2 tbsp cherry liqueur or 3 tbsp chopped maraschino cherries

  • 3 tbsp corn syrup or honey

  • Optional: extra powdered sugar or melted chocolate for coating

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix cookie crumbs, pecans, cocoa, and powdered sugar.

  • In a separate bowl, mix bourbon, cherry liqueur (or chopped cherries), and corn syrup.

  • Combine wet and dry mixtures until sticky and evenly blended.

  • Chill for 30 minutes. Roll into 1-inch balls.

  • Coat in powdered sugar, cocoa, or dip in chocolate. Chill before serving.

Notes

Store in fridge up to 2 weeks or freeze for 2 months. Flavor improves with time.
