Cinnamon Sugar Churro Donut Bites

Bite-sized churro-style donut balls, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, tossed in cinnamon sugar and served warm.

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Oil for frying

For coating:
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.

  • In another bowl, mix egg, milk, butter, and vanilla.

  • Stir wet into dry until a thick batter forms.

  • Heat oil to 350°F in deep pan.

  • Drop small spoonfuls of dough into oil. Fry 2–3 mins per side.

  • Remove and drain on paper towels.

  • Roll warm bites in cinnamon sugar.

  • Serve warm with optional dipping sauces.

Notes

For baked version, use mini muffin tin at 400°F for 10–12 minutes. Air fry at 375°F for 7–9 minutes.
