Bite-sized churro-style donut balls, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, tossed in cinnamon sugar and served warm.
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Oil for frying
For coating:
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
In another bowl, mix egg, milk, butter, and vanilla.
Stir wet into dry until a thick batter forms.
Heat oil to 350°F in deep pan.
Drop small spoonfuls of dough into oil. Fry 2–3 mins per side.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Roll warm bites in cinnamon sugar.
Serve warm with optional dipping sauces.
For baked version, use mini muffin tin at 400°F for 10–12 minutes. Air fry at 375°F for 7–9 minutes.
