200g semi-sweet chocolate
120g (½ cup) unsalted butter
3 large eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
¼ cup brown sugar (optional)
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment.
Melt chocolate and butter. Cool slightly.
In a bowl, whisk eggs, sugars, and vanilla for 2–3 minutes.
Stir in melted chocolate mixture.
Sift and fold in flour, cocoa, and salt until just combined.
Pour batter into pan and smooth the top.
Bake 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
Cool before slicing.
