Fudgy, chocolate-rich brownies with a creamy cheesecake swirl — easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Brownie Batter:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

Cream Cheese Swirl:

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 egg yolk

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and grease lightly.

  • In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla.

  • Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold until smooth. Reserve ¼ cup of batter.

  • Spread remaining batter into the prepared pan.

  • In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.

  • Dollop cream cheese mixture over brownie batter. Swirl gently with a knife.

  • Add reserved brownie batter on top in spoonfuls. Swirl again.

  • Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.

  • Cool completely before cutting. Chill for cleaner slices.

Notes

  • Add chocolate chips for extra richness.

  • Store chilled for up to 4 days.

  • Freeze for up to 2 months.
