Fudgy, chocolate-rich brownies with a creamy cheesecake swirl — easy to make and perfect for any occasion.
Brownie Batter:
½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
¾ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ tsp salt
Cream Cheese Swirl:
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
½ tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and grease lightly.
In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla.
Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold until smooth. Reserve ¼ cup of batter.
Spread remaining batter into the prepared pan.
In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.
Dollop cream cheese mixture over brownie batter. Swirl gently with a knife.
Add reserved brownie batter on top in spoonfuls. Swirl again.
Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
Cool completely before cutting. Chill for cleaner slices.
Add chocolate chips for extra richness.
Store chilled for up to 4 days.
Freeze for up to 2 months.
