For the Dough:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/3 cup milk
1 large egg
2 tbsp melted butter
For Coating:
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Neutral oil for frying (canola or vegetable)
In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
In a separate bowl, mix milk, egg, and melted butter.
Combine wet and dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry bites in small batches for 2–3 minutes until golden.
Drain on paper towels.
Roll warm bites in cinnamon sugar until fully coated.
