Delicious Healthy Date Brownies are naturally sweetened, fudgy chocolate brownies made with Medjool dates, cocoa powder, and almond flour for a wholesome dessert option.

1 cup pitted Medjool dates
2 large eggs
¼ cup melted coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
¾ cup almond flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup dark chocolate chips optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line 8×8 pan.

  • Soak dates if needed and drain.

  • Blend dates, eggs, coconut oil, and vanilla until smooth.

  • Add cocoa powder, almond flour, and salt and blend again.

  • Fold in chocolate chips if using.

  • Spread batter into pan.

  • Bake 18 to 22 minutes.

  • Cool completely before slicing.
