3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9×9-inch pan.
Whisk melted butter and sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt; fold into batter.
Spread into pan and sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes until edges are golden.
Cool completely before slicing.
Do not overbake for chewy texture. Measure flour accurately.
