These chocolate chip cookie bars are soft, buttery, and filled with melty chocolate chips — the perfect slice-and-share version of your favorite cookie.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 pan with parchment.

  • Melt butter and let cool slightly.

  • Whisk in sugars, eggs, and vanilla.

  • In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.

  • Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.

  • Press dough evenly into the pan.

  • Bake for 25–28 minutes until golden.

  • Cool before slicing into bars.
