Tender roast beef, melted cheese, caramelized onions, and soft buns served with warm au jus for dipping, perfect for dinner or parties.

Ingredients

1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
12 slider buns, preferably soft Hawaiian or dinner rolls
6 slices Swiss or provolone cheese
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)

Instructions

  • Caramelize onions in butter for 15–20 minutes.

  • Simmer beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper for 5–7 minutes.

  • Slice buns and brush with butter or Dijon mustard.

  • Layer beef, cheese, and onions in buns.

  • Bake 5–7 minutes at 350°F until cheese melts. Serve with au jus.
