1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
12 slider buns, preferably soft Hawaiian or dinner rolls
6 slices Swiss or provolone cheese
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
Caramelize onions in butter for 15–20 minutes.
Simmer beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper for 5–7 minutes.
Slice buns and brush with butter or Dijon mustard.
