For the dough:
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup whole milk, warm
2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
⅓ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp salt
For the filling:
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
For the glaze:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2–3 tbsp milk
Warm the milk and mix with sugar and yeast. Let sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
In a large bowl, combine the yeast mixture, eggs, butter, and salt. Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough for 6–8 minutes until smooth. Transfer to an oiled bowl, cover, and rise for 1–1.5 hours.
Mix filling ingredients into a smooth paste.
