2 1/2 pounds beef chuck roast cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
6 cloves garlic minced
1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Season beef with salt and pepper.
