Juicy Crack Burgers with melted cheese, caramelized onions, and a sweet-savory sauce served on soft buns.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (80/20)
4 slices American cheese
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
4 soft hamburger buns
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Cook onions in butter until golden and caramelized.

  • Form beef into 4 patties and season with salt and pepper.

  • Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side; top with cheese to melt.

  • Mix ketchup, Worcestershire, and brown sugar for the “crack” sauce.

  • Toast buns and spread sauce on the bottom.

  • Assemble burgers with patties, onions, optional toppings, and extra sauce.

  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust sauce sweetness or spice to taste. Leaner beef can be used, but may be less juicy.
