For the Cake:
1 ¾ cups flour
¾ cup cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 ½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
½ cup vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup hot coffee or water
For the Ganache:
8 oz dark chocolate
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two 8-inch pans with parchment.
Whisk dry ingredients together. Add eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla; whisk until smooth.
Gradually add hot coffee and mix until glossy.
