A festive sugar cookie topped with white icing and a marshmallow snowman “melting” into a sugary puddle. Fun, easy, and perfect for holiday decorating with kids.

  • 1½ cups powdered sugar

  • 23 tbsp milk or water

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp corn syrup (optional)

  • 68 large marshmallows (halved)

  • Food-safe markers or melted chocolate

  • Decorations: mini chips, sprinkles, candy scarves, pretzels

Instructions

  • Bake or prep your cookies and let cool.

  • Whisk powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and corn syrup into a thick icing.

  • Spoon icing over each cookie and let spread slightly.

  • Press marshmallow halves into icing as snowman heads.

  • Decorate with faces, buttons, scarves, and arms.

  • Let dry for 1–2 hours before serving.
