1 lb fresh strawberries
1½ cups chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (semi-sweet, dark, or milk)
1 tsp coconut oil or neutral oil (optional)
Optional: crushed nuts, white chocolate, shredded coconut, sprinkles
Wash and dry strawberries completely. Set aside at room temperature.
Line a tray with parchment paper.
Melt chocolate and oil in microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Dip each strawberry into chocolate and place on tray.
Add toppings if desired while chocolate is wet.
Let set at room temp 20 minutes or refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Serve fresh.
Strawberries must be fully dry for chocolate to stick.
