Sweet, juicy strawberries dipped in rich, melted chocolate and topped with your choice of delicious extras. A quick, elegant dessert perfect for holidays, parties, or romantic evenings.

Ingredients

1 lb fresh strawberries
1½ cups chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (semi-sweet, dark, or milk)
1 tsp coconut oil or neutral oil (optional)
Optional: crushed nuts, white chocolate, shredded coconut, sprinkles

Instructions

  • Wash and dry strawberries completely. Set aside at room temperature.

  • Line a tray with parchment paper.

  • Melt chocolate and oil in microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  • Dip each strawberry into chocolate and place on tray.

  • Add toppings if desired while chocolate is wet.

  • Let set at room temp 20 minutes or refrigerate for 10 minutes.

  • Serve fresh.

Notes

Strawberries must be fully dry for chocolate to stick.
Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
