These Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats are a soft, chewy, no-bake dessert with gooey marshmallows, crispy cereal, and nutty peanut butter — perfect for quick snacks and holiday treats.

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter

  • 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows (about 5½ cups)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  • Line a 9×13 pan with parchment or lightly grease.

  • In a large pot, melt butter and peanut butter over medium-low heat. Stir until smooth.

  • Add marshmallows and stir until fully melted. Remove from heat.

  • Stir in vanilla extract (if using), then immediately fold in Rice Krispies.

  • Press mixture evenly into the pan.

  • Let cool 30–60 minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

  • Add a drizzle of melted chocolate or sprinkle of sea salt on top for variation.

  • Store at room temperature up to 5 days.

  • Make gluten-free by using certified GF cereal and marshmallows.
