These Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats are a soft, chewy, no-bake dessert with gooey marshmallows, crispy cereal, and nutty peanut butter — perfect for quick snacks and holiday treats.
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 cup creamy peanut butter
¼ cup unsalted butter
1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows (about 5½ cups)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Line a 9×13 pan with parchment or lightly grease.
In a large pot, melt butter and peanut butter over medium-low heat. Stir until smooth.
Add marshmallows and stir until fully melted. Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla extract (if using), then immediately fold in Rice Krispies.
Press mixture evenly into the pan.
Let cool 30–60 minutes, then slice and serve.
Add a drizzle of melted chocolate or sprinkle of sea salt on top for variation.
Store at room temperature up to 5 days.
