Crusty, buttery garlic bread loaded with gooey mozzarella and parmesan, baked to golden perfection. A quick and bold-flavored side dish everyone loves.
1 loaf French or Italian bread
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
4 garlic cloves, minced
¼ tsp salt
Black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1½ cups shredded mozzarella
½ cup grated parmesan
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.
Slice bread in half lengthwise and place cut-side up.
Mix butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley.
Spread garlic butter evenly over the bread.
Top with mozzarella and parmesan.
Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted.
Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes for golden top.
Cool slightly, slice, and serve hot.
For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes to the butter mix.
