1 1/2 cups Medjool dates, pitted
1 cup raw walnuts or almonds
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.

  • In a food processor, pulse nuts until finely ground.

  • Add dates, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt. Process until sticky and combined.

  • Press mixture into the pan firmly and evenly.

  • Chill for 1 hour in the fridge or 30 minutes in the freezer.

  • Slice into squares and serve.

Notes
