1 pound fresh carrots, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch thick rounds
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
Peel and slice carrots; trim green beans and rinse.
Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Sauté carrots for 5–6 minutes until tender but firm.
Add green beans and cook 4–5 minutes until bright and crisp-tender.
Drizzle honey over vegetables and stir gently.
