1 1/2 pounds chicken
1 tablespoon oil
1 onion
4 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon ginger
1 cup yogurt
1 can coconut milk
2 tablespoons ground almonds
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon coriander
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Use full-fat coconut milk for a richer sauce. Add vegetables near the end if desired.
