Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • ½ cup oil

  • 1 cup water or milk

  • 1 cup Nestlé Toll House chocolate chips

  • 2 boxes (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding

  • 3 cups cold milk

  • 1 tub Cool Whip (8 oz) or homemade whipped cream

  • 1 cup crushed Nestlé Toll House cookies or extra chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake cake per package directions with eggs, oil, and milk. Cool completely and cube.

  • Whisk pudding with cold milk until thick. Chill.

  • In a trifle dish, layer half the cake, pudding, and whipped topping. Sprinkle cookie crumbles.

  • Repeat layers and finish with chips or chocolate garnish.

  • Chill at least 4 hours or overnight. Serve cold.
